Kiwiana

“Childish” is a Kiwiana-inspired publication project exploring nostalgia, childhood memories, and escapism through graphic design and print. The project combines editorial design, illustration, and interactive puzzles to create a playful printed experience inspired by growing up in New Zealand. Using familiar Kiwi foods, toys, places, and cultural icons, the project was designed to capture the feeling of childhood happiness and provide a light-hearted escape from the stress and responsibility of adult life.

Packaged as a printed book and puzzle set, “Childish” encourages people to reconnect with memories of their own Kiwi upbringing through immersive and tactile design. A project we are truly passionate about, showcasing strengths across publication design, illustration, typography, packaging, and visual storytelling while celebrating the nostalgic side of Kiwi culture.
